It usually starts at minimum plus 0.50$ so figure about $8.00. Going from cashier to book seller is usually another 0.50$ and if cafe or LP add another 0.50$ on top of that. So figure book seller gets between $8.50 and $9.00. I know great booksellers who have worked for the company for +8 years and do not make over $11.00.

if you go supervisor, add another $1.00 to $1.50 per hour. Extremely low for the kind of responsibility borders expects.

Keep in mind that the company cashflow is still in trouble and the debt, while better, is still extremely high. Good raises are not in the future.

Now if you can get into Walmart, Target, CostCo, you will make anywhere from $2.00 to $4.00 more as a starting "unskilled labor" hourly wage.
