I had a customer come into the store a couple of weeks ago asking for any books by a poet Linton Johnson who turned out to be the reggae singer Linton Kwesi Johnson. I recognized a couple of the covers from his albums and then realized that I use to listen to him a lot when I was younger. So check it out, I ended up buying the "Independent Intavenshan" which is his Island anthology...awesome. Very dubby (if that is a word).

My favorite song is "Inglan is a Bitch" which another name (corporate?) could be added to it and made into the rallying song. This album got 5 out of 5 in a couple of reviews. So it comes highly recommended.
